Optical Coherence Tomography

Optical Coherence Tomography is a non-invasive imaging test that uses infra-red light to take cross-sectional pictures of your retina. With OCT, each of the retina’s distinctive layers can be seen, allowing your optometrist to view and monitor the retinal health. OCT images help us to assess retinal diseases including age-related macula disease, diabetic retinal disease and glaucoma.
