Advanced Eye Examination
Patients are provided with a thorough eye examination using modern, sophisticated technology enabling us to screen for ocular and systemic conditions that may need treatment.
These examinations take a little longer and enable us to spend more time with you to understand your history, symptoms and precise visual needs.
The examination involves the assessment of internal and external eye health, oculomotor balance of the eye muscles, screening for conditions including glaucoma, age-related macula disease, dry eye and corneal abnormalities. We will do a careful and detailed refractive review to calculate your prescription.
At the conclusion of your consultation, your optometrist will explain the exam results and where appropriate, make recommendations for spectacles and contact lenses. You will be issued with your personal prescription.
Dispensing your prescription
Following your eye examination you will be introduced to one of our qualified and highly experienced Dispensing Opticians who will guide you through your prescription and enable you to choose suitable frames and discuss lens types for your spectacles along with any coatings or tints that you may require.
